Goods are dispatched the next working day after payment has been made.
Payments made by direct credit or internet banking are processed overnight by the bank if payment is made before 8pm. Payments made after 8pm are processed the following night, for example if you make a payment on Wednesday night at 9.30pm your payment will be processed Thursday night and show in our account on Friday morning. Payments made on a Sat, Sun and Mon are all processed Monday night and show in our account on Tuesday. Stat holidays are processed the next business day.
Our aim is to ship orders, where we can, the same day payment shows in our account.
We mainly use CourierPost and PBT to ship our orders, but will use other couriers from time to time. We can deliver to PO Boxes via CourierPost only. A business delivery address is preferred and can result in quicker delivery. All our deliveries are tracked.
All our goods are bubble wrapped and packaged with care.
All our orders are shipped by courier, we don't use NZ Post. If you have specific delivery instructions please advise us and we will make a note for the courier. Couriers deliver Mon to Fri, if we receive your payment on a Friday your items should be delivered Monday. Some couriers may deliver on a Saturday depending on their run, but in most cases they will deliver on Monday, Saturday delivery costs extra, if you require Saturday delivery please request before making payment.
The target delivery times are overnight for most deliveries depending on location, with rural taking a day or two longer, however we cannot make any guarantees of delivery times. We send most of our deliveries in courier packs, in the case we have to send by box/carton to the South Island they are sent economy and are 1-3 working days for delivery.
CourierPost is non-signature - if you are not home at the time of delivery the courier will leave it at your door or in your mailbox. Once goods are delivered they are at the buyers risk, we take no responsibility for items gone missing or stolen etc once delivered. If you are not happy with this option please advise an address such as a work address where someone will be there to receive your goods.
PBT/PostHaste/Fastway are signature required unless specifically requested, if you are not home at time of delivery they will leave you a "card to call" for you to arrange an alternative delivery time or address.
When CourierPost picks up the parcels from us they are scanned and an email is sent to you with a tracking number (other couriers do not offer the email service). This system is managed by Courier Post, in most cases the emails are successfully sent however there may be times it does not, this may be due to the driver’s scanner not working or emails have gone to your spam/junk folders. As this service is managed by the courier companies unfortunately we have no access or control over the emails.
If you have not received your order within 4 working days please contact us so we can trace your delivery. We cannot accept liability for goods damaged or lost in transit, but we will make best endeavours to work with or courier company to trace the item/s
We suggest you group your items in one order. We may not be able to group two orders placed separately, and shipping fees may apply to each of them
IMPORTANT: Rural Delivery
We appreciate that rural delivery is not always easy to define, all our deliveries are via courier so we are governed by them in terms of what is and isn't a rural address. To check your address CLICK- Courier Post Address Finder.
If the address has an "RD" in the details it is rural. Leaving the RD out of an address will not avoid the rural charge as we enter all our addresses into the NZ Post/CourierPost national database which automatically tells us the correct full address.
If you select the non-rural option when you are a rural address we will request a further payment for the rural delivery. Or an alternative non-rural delivery address.
We are invoiced by the couriers once the ticket/courier pack has been scanned/delivered, so if it's a rural address it has a rural ticket and we are charged accordingly.
Some rural deliveries are left at a local Post Shops or Agent for NZ Post, we will not be aware of this if that is the case for your deliveries. If you provide us with the address of the post shop or agent we can address your delivery care of the agent as long as they are also not a rural address (as some are). If you supply us with an address that is rural we will require the rural delivery costs, regardless of where the driver actually leaves the parcel, ie post shop etc. We unfortunately cannot get around this issue.
Many rural customers will have their parcels delivered to their workplace or a friend/relative who has non-rural address, we are more than happy to do this and have you save on the rural costs
We do understand that this can be frustrating to you when purchasing online which is why we have clearly outlined our terms for rural delivery
INTERNATIONAL
We do ship overseas, the international shipping is not calculated automatically through the website as it varies greatly depending on weight, please email us (a copy of your shopping cart is ideal) and we will provide a shipping quote. We accept payments via Paypal for our international orders.
