50 grams - due to the size of these tiny tiles they are sold by weight rather than counted individually, we estimate that there is between 150 - 200 pcs per pack (with the average being about 170) depending on colour and colour density

At approx 5 x 5 x 4mm, these are a great addition to our product range, they are specially manufactured for mosaic artists, they are deliberately produced with varied thickness and not square like moulded tiles. You can make use all six sides to enhance detailing and avoids uniform array.

These micro minis make wonderful artistic additions to you mosaics, the colours are so vibrant and with the selection of colours we have available you will easily find a match for your mosaic.

Some of the micros are opaque, semi opaque or transparent, the more transparent the micro the more clearly you will pick up the colour of your base, for example if using an MDF base you will see the MDF colour through the more transparent micro, we recommend a white painted background or a background the same colour of the micro mini to really bring out the colour.

To view the transparency of the micro click on the image above to enlarge and see more detail.

TIP: If you are wanting to lay out a particular design you can use the mesh method, print off your pattern/design (or whatever you are using as a pattern), place plastic on top of the pattern, we use glad wrap but you can also use a clear plastic shopping bag, then lay your mesh on top so you should be able to see your pattern through the mesh and plastic (use a bit of tape to stop pattern and mesh from moving around while gluing) using PVA or your preferred adhesive, glue your micros into place onto the mesh following the lines of your pattern, once the micros have dried to the mesh you can lift the mesh (with micros attached) from the plastic covering the pattern, then lay it out and glue it into place in one go onto your base, the mesh will be covered by the grout once complete. You can then repeat a number of designs using the same pattern and have them looking identical.

These tiles might be smaller than you’ve used before, it’s a personal preference as to the method you use.    I personally found it more efficient to use tweezers and very quickly got into the swing of it and found them very easy to handle.  Some customers say they found it just as easy to use their fingers.

Searching Tip - if you are looking for tiles in just the one colour, go to the search box in the top right corner and type the colour you are interested in and all product in that particular colour will be listed for you.

If you have any ideas that you come up with when using these (or any of our product) we'd love to hear from you.  We are also happy from you if you have any questions about any of our product.
