Approx 20 x 20mm and 2mm thick so a bit thinner than our other glass tiles. 

These are not solid colour right through the glass like standard stained glass but a coloured coating on the glass giving it a stained glass look.  They are great on glass tealight holders, glass vases or hanging back to back in the sun as the light shows thru them (except tomato, viola and raspberry which are opaque)

The transparent colours in this range look fantastic with foil backing, you can use briteback or similar (pretty expensive tho), but really you don't need to spend that much money as tin foil will do the trick just as well.  I use the dull side of the tin foil & prefer to use a clear silicone (neutral cure doesn't damaged the colour coating) and PVA works just as well too but takes a bit longer to dry.  Layout a small sheet of foil, then simply spread the silcone/pva on the tile nd place down onto the foil, wiggle it around so the adhesive spreads out evenly and gets rid of the air bubbles, lay out as many tiles as you wish on to your foil sheet then leave them to dry, once dry cut around each tile and you have foil backed tiles.  You can also crumple the foil first for a textured foil look.

NOTE: The colour coated side of the glass should be glued face down into the adhesive as some grouts can rub off some of the colour backing.
